Many Fallbrook businesses have long histories; Berry-Bell and Hall Fallbrook Mortuary is one of them. Established by Ernest Bell in 1948, it was Fallbrook's only mortuary.

In 1973, Bell sold to I.F.S. International and the family business became corporate-owned. In 1977, Charles Hall, a long time employee of the mortuary, purchased the company and added his name to the title, but in 1996, Hall sold to Service Corporation International. Fallbrook's only mortuary was, again, corporate-owned.

In 2001, Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary became a family owned business once again. The McGargill family, with Steve and Scott McGargill as managing funeral directors, have and will continue to provide excellent service to Fallbrook and the surrounding communities for many years to come.

Our goal is to serve every family as if they were our own family. Honoring and respecting those who die is also taking care of those who live. Our goal is to produce five-star service for the families we serve for many years to come.
